My main field of work is installation, where I usually employ the use of sound, text, photography and textiles, I have also turned to experimental video works in recent years. In the time bequeathed to us with the lockdown brought by the global pandemic Covid-19, I started to write more in order to analyse what is happening in these extraordinary times we found ourselves in, and to record voice articles called ‘Both now and in A Story may be’. This period also gave me a chance to return to drawing in a new language of my own after many years. I have also translated, so to speak, the feelings and thoughts that some of my drawings evoke into writing. It is a kind of analysis of emotions and thoughts, like an internal map. The images in this catalog are the ones selected as digital prints for the exhibition The Tumultuous Experience of Pandemic Life taking place in October-November 2020 at Arucad Art Space, out of 120 works that emerged as two ‘Artist Books’ in this process.
